Hip Preservation team has study published in the Journal of Hip Preservation Surgery

Research

We would like to recognize the Hip Preservation team, including Dr. Daniel Cunningham, Dr. Brian Lewis, Carolyn Hutyra, Dr. Chad Mather, and Dr. Steven Olson (pictured left; left to right) who recently had their study, "Early recovery after hip arthroscopy for femoroacetabular impingement syndrome: a prospective, observational study," published in the Journal of Hip Preservation Surgery

The early post-operative course after hip arthroscopy for femoroacetabular impingement syndrome has not been thoroughly characterized or correlated to factors that may influence recovery. The aim of this study was to report on early pain, function and attitudes towards rehabilitation and to determine predictors of early recovery after hip arthroscopy. Read more here.
