Carolyn A. Hutyra, MMCI – Director of COORDS
Carolyn Hutyra is the Director of COORDS and a Data Strategist within the Practice Transformation Unit in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. She partners with Department leadership and faculty to facilitate implementation of the COORDS initiatives for data infrastructure and patient-reported outcome collection. Her long-term goals for COORDS are to facilitate a learning health system and gain national recognition for Duke Orthopaedics as a pioneer of data-driven clinical care.
Richard C. “Chad” Mather III, MD, MBA – Co-Chair
Dr. Mather is a Co-Chair of COORDS and the Vice Chairman of the Practice Transformation Unit in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also a faculty member at the Duke Clinical Research Institute. His role in COORDS is vital in aligning the initiatives of COORDS with clinical, quality improvement and practice innovation needs of the Department.
Steven Z. George PT, PhD – Co-Chair
Dr. George is one of the Co-chairs of COORDS, Director of Musculoskeletal Research at the Duke Clinical Research Institute and Vice Chair of Clinical Research Orthopaedic Surgery. His role is to provide guidance for research initiatives within COORDS
Emily Reinke, PhD – Collaborative Partner
Dr. Reinke is a collaborative partner for COORDS and the Research Program Leader for the Sports Division in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Reinke serves as a data analytics consultant for COORDS. In her role, she provides key insights into the underlying data infrastructure and analytic capacity of COORDS.
