Duke DPT/OTD Faculty Serve as Panelists at NCCU Event

Tiffany N. Adams, PT, DPT, MBA, and Tomeico Faison, OTD, OTR/L, both Assistant Professors in Orthopaedic Surgery, participated in a panel at NCCU in February.

It was hosted by the student organization SAAME (Science African American Majors Evolving).
 
They discussed pathways to the PT and OT professions and shared their successes as Black women in these fields. They also discussed traditional and innovative career opportunities within the PT and OT professions and the significance of mentorship leading them to success within these professions.
