Patient Care
We offer advanced, patient-centered care for fractures of the pelvis, acetabulum, and upper and lower extremities. Our team is particularly skilled in managing periarticular injuries and post-traumatic hip arthritis. Our mission is to help patients return to the activities that matter most to them—safely and confidently.

Innovation & Research
Our faculty lead cutting-edge research in clinical care, translational science, health policy, and surgical innovation. We are committed to advancing orthopaedic trauma care through novel care delivery models, next-generation surgical technologies, and initiatives that address social determinants of health and fracture prevention.
Community Mission
Through initiatives like the Durham Impact Project and partnerships with the City of Durham, we extend our mission beyond the hospital. Our team is dedicated to violence prevention, mentorship, and expanding access to musculoskeletal care in underserved communities, ensuring our impact is felt both within and outside the operating room.
