Duke Orthopaedics Arringdon is conveniently located near Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, less than 5 miles from the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). Arringdon offers many orthopaedic care services, including on-site physical therapy, x-rays, fluoroscopy for image-guided injections, and urgent care. Surgical procedures are performed at Arringdon, and orthopaedic surgeons can see patients for pre- and post-surgery consultations.

The Durham Veterans Administration Medical Center is a 271-bed tertiary care referral, teaching, and research facility affiliated with Duke University School of Medicine. Durham VA provides general and specialty medical, surgical, psychiatric inpatient and ambulatory services, and serves as a major referral center for North Carolina, southern Virginia, north South Carolina, and eastern Tennessee.
Sports Coverage
Sports medicine fellows and residents participate in football game coverage for the following universities: Duke University, North Carolina Central University (NCCU), St. Augustine’s University, and Elon University.
Sports medicine fellows and residents participate in high school football game coverage for high schools in Durham, Orange, and Wake counties. Physicians are required to participate in a background check prior to providing game coverage.

James E. Davis Ambulatory Surgery Center (DASC)
For over 25 years, the multi-specialty James E. Davis Ambulatory Surgical Center has provided efficient, safe, and comfortable outpatient surgery in a warm, caring environment. Our healthcare team is dedicated to providing an efficient and safe environment for our patients and their families while respecting your privacy in an informative and comfortable setting. DASC surgeons perform 6,000 to 7,000 surgeries annually, including endoscopy procedures such as colonoscopies, ophthalmology procedures, and cosmetic surgery, as well as urologic, orthopaedic, vascular, general, and ear, nose, and throat surgery. Pediatric procedures include ear, nose, and throat surgery, ophthalmology procedures, and general surgery.
Duke Raleigh Hospital (DRaH)
Duke Raleigh Hospital has been a member of the Duke University Health System family since 1998. Christened “Mary Elizabeth Hospital” when it opened its doors in 1914, it was later renamed Raleigh Community Hospital and, in 1978, moved to the current Wake Forest Road location. The hospital has 186 beds and over 500 physicians on the medical staff. Physicians from Duke Children’s Hospital provide newborn care at Duke Health Raleigh Hospital.

Duke Regional Hospital, located in northern Durham, North Carolina, is a general-services hospital that has been part of the Duke University Health System since 1998.
