Duke Sports Medicine to Provide Medical Support at World-Cup Styled Soccer Tournament, June 1-4

The Duke Sports Medicine team will provide medical support at The Soccer Tournament (TST), June 1-4. The event brings together 32 teams comprised of former pros and top college soccer alumni from around the world competing for $1 million in a 7v7 World Cup-style tournament, featuring:

  • Duke Alumni team (“Duke Sevens”)
  • U.S. Men’s National Team Alumni (USMNT)
  • U.S. Women’s National Team Alumni – coached by Mia Hamm and Michelle Akers
  • Team Dempsey (Clint Dempsey – USMNT legend)
  • West Ham (English Premier League)
  • Wrexham (Wales)
  • Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga – Germany)
  • Charlotte FC
