Noelle Sellars Promoted to Administrative Coordinator

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is pleased to announce the promotion of Noelle Sellars to administrative coordinator, effective July 1. In her new role, Sellars oversees the department's surgery scheduling team and surgery scheduling operations.

Sellars began her career at Duke Health as a clinical athletic trainer with the Duke Sports Sciences Institute after spending five years working in Division I collegiate athletics in Massachusetts. She later joined the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery as a surgery scheduler, where she supported physician practices and contributed to workflow improvements designed to enhance operational efficiency.

Throughout her time at Duke, Sellars has demonstrated a commitment to collaboration, problem-solving and continuous improvement. Her promotion reflects her leadership and dedication to supporting patients, providers and staff across the department.

A native of Annapolis, Maryland, Sellars earned her bachelor's degree from Ithaca College in 2013 and her master's degree from Lasell University in 2021. Her professional journey has been guided by a passion for health care, teamwork and creating effective systems that improve both the patient and staff experience.

Outside of work, Sellars enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with her partner and their dog, Journey. Her hobbies include gardening, reading and exploring the outdoors.
