Brett Rocos, MD, BSc (Hons), MB, ChB, Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, ran a percutaneous spinal fixation course at the Duke University Health cadaver lab last week for both fellows and residents.

Dr. Rocos shared, "This is an incredibly useful technique to manage spinal fractures and can be used by specialists and generalists alike. We have superb support from Silony Medical AG and a visiting instructor from London, John Afolayan, MD, FRCS." He is a consultant surgeon at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London and one of Britain's most experienced percutaneous fracture surgeons.
