Welcome Jacob Unger to Duke Orthopaedics

Duke Orthopaedics is pleased to welcome Jacob Unger, PT, DPT, who will join the department in October as practice administrator for the Apex and Cary locations.

Unger brings eight years of experience as a physical therapist, including six years in leadership roles. A Duke-trained physical therapist, he said Duke's commitment to high-quality patient care, community service and employee development aligns closely with his professional philosophy.

Originally from Wisconsin, Unger spent time in both North Carolina and the Midwest before returning to Duke to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. He and his wife recently celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary and are the parents of three young sons.

"I am so excited to be joining Duke Ortho and am looking forward to meeting you all," Unger shared. "I am excited to get started and to get to know each of you."
