Dr. Christine Goertz Receives International Recognition for Leadership in Spine Care Delivery

Dr. Christine Goertz, DC, PhD, received the David Chapman-Smith Award at the biannual conference of the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) earlier this year. This prestigious award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, long-term service, and significant contributions to advancing the chiropractic profession worldwide.

Dr. Goertz is a professor in musculoskeletal research at the Duke Clinical Research Institute and serves as vice chair for implementation of spine health innovations in Duke’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Her work focuses on integrating evidence-based spine care into clinical practice and advancing interdisciplinary approaches to musculoskeletal health.
