What were you looking for in a residency program?
I was looking for a resident-focused program that is well-rounded in all sub-specialties that would allow me to excel once I left. Duke has incredible opportunities in all areas from further developing clinical skills to research opportunities.
What are your research and clinical interests at this time?
I'm interested in Shoulder/Sports, my PhD was focused on shoulder instability.
Where did you choose to live, and why?
I chose to live beside the campus because when I moved at first I had never driven on this side of the road (we drive on the left in Ireland).
What do you like to do outside of medicine?
I follow the Cleveland Browns, and I'm a big Irish rugby fan.
