About the Duke program

What were you looking for in a residency program?

I always sought a program where I could learn not just how to be an orthopaedic surgeon but also how to think like the mentors that I was most inspired by - how to constantly challenge ourselves and improve our work. Above all else, however, I knew that I wanted to be part of a team of residents that would equally inspire each other every day.

What are your research and clinical interests at this time?

Hand and Sports Medicine

Where did you choose to live, and why?

I am living close to the hospital at the Lofts - the door-to-Chipotle time is excellent.

What do you like to do outside of medicine?

Soccer, swimming, hiking, and driving. Also will gladly share my opinions about All Blacks rugby and Formula 1.
