I was looking for a strong collaborative environment with residents who were eager to help each other improve and attendings who were invested in teaching
What are your research and clinical interests at this time?
My research background is in genetic engineering and I am interested in exploring genetics in the context of orthopedic pathology. Clinically, my interests are broad and I looking forward to rotating through each clinical subspecialty
Where did you choose to live and why?
My husband and I chose to live in downtown Durham with our golden retriever. Coming from New York City, we are excited to be within walking distance of many restaurants, coffee shops, and the Durham Performing Arts Center.
What do you like to do outside of medicine?
I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dog Teddy, bouldering, reading, and photography.
