What were you looking for in a residency program?
I was looking for a strong operative experience, research opportunities, and a culture of camaraderie among residents and attendings.
What are your research and clinical interests at this time?
I remain open-minded clinically and look forward to rotating through all subspecialties of orthopaedic surgery. My research interests include fracture repair, nutrition, and artificial intelligence.
Where did you choose to live, and why?
I chose to live on Ninth Street in Durham because of its convenient location and the surrounding community.
What do you like to do outside of medicine?
I enjoy golfing, surfing, pick-up basketball, and spending time with friends and family.
