I went straight to medical school.

What were you looking for in a residency program?
I wanted a program where I could receive excellent orthopedic training with a close-knit group of residents. Duke stood out in both of these regards during my interview process with their commitment to education and strong camaraderie.
What are your research and clinical interests at this time?
My current interests are broad but I particularly enjoy spine and upper extremity.
Where did you choose to live, and why?
I chose to live in downtown Durham. I enjoy having many restaurants, the Tobacco Campus, the Durham Bulls, and the Tobacco Trail all within walking distance while also being within 5 minutes of the hospital.
What do you like to do outside of medicine?
I love enjoying all of the outdoor activities that North Carolina has to offer, especially the mountains and beaches. I also like to swim, bike, and run.
