Drexel University College of Medicine

Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University

What were you looking for in a residency program?
For me, it was all about culture, and Duke’s stood out from the pack. There is a tremendous camaraderie among the residents and genuine enthusiasm for the pursuit of excellence in orthopaedic care.

What are your research and clinical interests at this time?
I have experience and interest in sports, adult reconstruction, and pediatrics, but my passion lies in improving access to orthopaedic surgical care in the developing world.

Where did you choose to live, and why?
I live downtown with my dog Barnaby. The Durham Bulls and DPAC are a block away and there are countless restaurants and bars within walking distance.

What do you like to do outside of medicine?
Hanging out with Barnaby, kayaking, biking, and pick-up soccer. When there is time, I enjoy getting down to the beach.
