Congratulations to Ben Alman, MD, Chair, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, who was named President-Elect of the Southern Orthopaedic Association (SOA) at their 44th Annual Meeting in Florida.
The SOA was founded in 1983 by a small group of dedicated physicians who desire to establish a regional association for orthopaedic surgeons living in the southern states of the United States. SOA strives to serve its members and fulfill its mission of developing and fostering the art and science of medicine in the specialty of orthopaedic surgery. The flagship Annual Meeting and the Journal of Surgical Orthopaedic Advances are Foremost in this effort.
