The Special Olympics North Carolina games have reopened, and our Duke Ortho Advanced Practice Provider (APP) volunteers will offer medical support from April 13-14.
Raymond Malaguti, PA-C, began coordinating Duke Ortho APPs' efforts to provide medical support at the games several years ago. Today, Ashley Grimsley, PA-C, organizes the Duke Ortho APP involvement. Malaguti shared, “All Duke Ortho APP participants find the experience very rewarding and enjoy giving back to the community.”
