Series: Inside the Lab with Duke Orthopaedic Surgery

We are introducing the new 'Inside the Lab' series featuring the innovative research projects Duke Department of Orthopaedic Surgery students, faculty, and staff are actively pursuing this year.

Today, in the McNulty lab, graduate student Vianna Martinez is leading a project to identify critical age-related mechanoresponsive pathways and modulate them to prevent age-related osteoarthritis development. Vianna was recently awarded a Carl Storm Opportunity Fellowship to present this work at the Cartilage Gordon Conference.
