A new Duke Sports Science Institute (DSSI) program, Duke Sports Performance, was recently featured on WRALSports. Reporter, Pat Welter, spoke with Associate Director of DSSI, Harry Stafford, MD, CSCS, MBA, about the first batch of NFL draft prospects to participate in this innovative training program.
"The vision for Duke Sports Performance is to provide high-level training for college and professional athletes and the entire community. We wanted to develop a program encompassing everything that would allow a middle school athlete up to a pro athlete to improve," Stafford said. "No matter what sport...soccer, football, basketball, volleyball, we have skills coaches that can help with everything."
Duke Sports Performance offers performance testing and programs to help individuals maximize their athletic potential while reducing the risk of injury.
