Amy L. Behman, MB ChB, PhD, FRCSC, assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery, received a William Harris Foundation Career Development Award in Hip Surgery. It is a traveling fellowship and research mentorship for the 2024-2025 academic year.
This award was developed to facilitate the training and career development of young surgeons/investigators interested in pursuing a career in the evolving field of hip preservation. This award creates a unique opportunity for focused clinical/surgical education, participation in the ANCHOR clinical research program, and professional networking with experts in the field. It is co-sponsored by the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine and the ANCHOR Study Group.
