Erica D. Taylor, MD, MBA, recently served as a trailblazer panelist for the National Student National Medical Association (SNMA) Orthopaedic Surgery Interest Group (OSIG) Black History Month event. Attendees included medical students from across the country. Dr. Taylor spoke on "My Journey to Orthopaedic Leadership - Lessons Learned - The Taylor Way."
The questions from the medical students about leadership and allyship were tremendous, and she was humbled to be alongside giants in orthopaedics, like Dr. Joel Boyd and Dr. Toni McLaurin.
Dr. Taylor also served as a panelist for the SNMA Black History Month session on Feb. 20 that welcomed more than 150 attendees.
