Duke Orthopaedics is excited to welcome Cynthia Kimler, ATC, LAT, as one of our newest Athletic Training Residents!
Originally from Dugway, a small Army base in Utah, Cynthia brings a strong foundation in athletic training and a passion for professional growth. She earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Coe College in Iowa and joins Duke with a clear mission: to advance her skills and help other athletic trainers grow in the field.
“I was looking for a residency that would challenge me and offer opportunities to contribute to the profession,” Cynthia shared. “The support and structure Duke offers made this an easy choice, and I’m thrilled to be here.”
Cynthia is particularly interested in the hand and upper extremity department but is eager to explore all areas of orthopaedics during her time at Duke. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, painting, playing computer games, and spending time with her cat, Smudge.
Please join us in giving Cynthia a warm welcome to the Duke Ortho family!
