Duke Orthopaedics celebrated Halloween in style with our annual social and virtual costume contest—and what a frightfully fun time it was!
The festivities kicked off with a pizza lunch (thank you, Dr. Alman!), setting the stage for an afternoon filled with music, laughter, and community-building opportunities for faculty, staff, and students. It was wonderful to see everyone come together to share in the spirit of the season.
Adding to the excitement, the creative pumpkin-carving contests at the Duke Orthopaedics Arringdon clinic showcased incredible talent and imagination. From spooky designs to whimsical creations, these pumpkins were true works of art!
Of course, the highlight of the day was our Halloween Costume Contest (virtual and in-person), where your creativity truly shone. After counting the votes, we’re thrilled to congratulate our winners:
-
Group Costume Winner (in-person): The Louvre Thieves
-
Individual Costume Winner (in-person): Voldemort – Zariah Scales
-
Group Costume Winner (virtual): The Wizard of Oz – Duke Orthopaedics Arringdon
-
Individual Costume Winner (virtual): The Tinman – Duke Orthopaedics Arringdon
Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event such a memorable celebration. Your enthusiasm and team spirit remind us why Duke Orthopaedics is such a vibrant and connected community.
Here’s to more moments of fun and fellowship—until next year, stay spooky!
