Thorsten Seyler, MD, PhD, Receives NIH SBIR Grant

Thorsten M. Seyler, MD, PhD, associate professor orthopaedic surgery; director, adult reconstruction fellowship; and principal investigator, Orthopaedic Biofilm Laboratory recently received a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant. 

He will work alongside Matthew L. Becker, PhD, MA, Hugo L. Blomquist Distinguished professor of chemistry.  

The SBIR grant program is a U.S. government funding program coordinated by the Small Business Administration.

Dr. Seyler is also the current president of the Musculoskeletal Infection Society (MSIS).
