What were you looking for in a residency program?
I was looking for a program that offered an excellent operative experience in the context of a supportive environment with an emphasis on peer-to-peer learning. Additionally, I sought a program where my research interests could be supported in the midst of a busy clinical schedule.
What are your research and clinical interests at this time?
Joints, Sports Medicine; open to change based on my rotations

About Duke University and Durham
Where did you choose to live, and why?
I chose to live at Whetstone Apartments in downtown Durham to be close to the hospital, restaurants, bars, etc. I am most likely going to buy a condo this coming year though I am not sure where in Durham that will be.
What do you like to do outside of medicine?
I play basketball, wakeboard, and lift. I also like to try new restaurants, go to concerts, and travel whenever I get a chance.
