Jessica received her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and minor in Exercise and Sport Science at Smith College (Northampton, MA). She is in her first year in Duke’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Jessica played soccer through college, which led her to find her passion for physical therapy, and she specifically became interested in neurological physical therapy after experiencing concussion injuries. She is excited to gain experience and grow her knowledge in the research and neurological side of physical therapy while being able to tie in her learning from her undergraduate coursework and current coursework in physical therapy. Being able to contribute to the field through the work with the Faw lab is an experience she is greatly looking forward to.
