What were you looking for in a residency program?
The goal for me was to find a residency program where I would become an excellent orthopaedic surgeon. I believed this would come from finding a residency program with outstanding operative experience, significant clinical volume, and access to research opportunities. I also value the comradery of the residency program.
What are your research and clinical interests at this time?
I am currently interested in clinical research focused on improving the surgical and clinical care of patients in orthopaedics over my lifetime.
What do you like to do outside of medicine?
I enjoy going to the gym and being physically active, which comes from a long history of playing sports. Because of this, I continue to follow college and professional football and basketball. I enjoy spending time with friends and family while also experiencing new foods and trying new restaurants.
