Where did you attend college/university?
The University of Notre Dame

What did you do after college?
I spent a year working as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Children’s National Medical Center

Where did you attend medical school?
Georgetown University School of Medicine

What were you looking for in a residency program?
I was looking for a program with a tight-knit group of residents, who were hardworking, humble, and down-to-earth. Duke stood out in this regard, while also providing high-quality orthopaedic education. I was especially impressed by the program and residents during my month-long rotation there and felt like the Duke residents were the type of individuals and surgeons I wanted to become.

What are your research and clinical interests at this time?
I have broad interests in all areas of Orthopaedics, though my research until this point has been in arthroplasty.

Where did you choose to live, and why?
I live 15 minutes from the hospital. My wife and I were looking for a place to start a family and remain close to other residents in the program.

What do you like to do outside of medicine?
Spending time with my wife and learning how to be a good dad. Lift weights, play intramural sports, and golf. Every Saturday in the fall is spent watching Notre Dame football.
