Where did you attend college/university?
University of Pennsylvania

Where did you attend medical school?
Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University

What were you looking for in a residency program?
I was looking for a program where I would get robust hands-on surgical experience, strong exposure across all subspecialties, and most importantly, be a part of a team-based culture. On my away rotation at Duke, I found the collegiality of the program to be exactly what I was looking for.

What are your research and clinical interests at this time?
Clinically, I’m excited to learn about all areas of orthopedics. My research to date has focused on clinical outcomes in orthopedic sports medicine and reducing perioperative opioid consumption using multimodal analgesics.

Where did you choose to live and why?
I chose to live in an apartment downtown to be within walking distance of all that downtown Durham has to offer while also being a quick drive to the hospital.

What do you like to do outside of medicine?
I enjoy getting outside to run, hike, play soccer, surf, ski, or read a good book. I love watching all Philadelphia sports teams but especially the Eagles – Go Birds!
