What were you looking for in a residency program?
I was looking for a program with an outstanding tradition of training leaders in the orthopedic surgery field as well as a program with strong camaraderie, mentorship, and opportunity.
What are your research and clinical interests at this time?
Although my research interests remain broad, I am especially interested in meniscus and anterior cruciate ligament injuries, multidirectional shoulder instability, and posttraumatic osteoarthritis of the knee.
Where did you choose to live and why?
I chose to live in downtown Durham so that I could be within walking distance of all the great things Durham has to offer.
What do you like to do outside of medicine?
I enjoy playing ice hockey, golf, and pickleball.
