Tally Lassiter is an orthopedic surgeon, specializing in sports medicine and shoulders. Dr. Lassiter sees patients at Duke Raleigh Hospital and the Knightdale and Arrington Duke clinics. His research interests focus on shoulder issues, such as reverse shoulder arthroplasty in the outpatient setting, superior capsular reconstruction, treatment for irreparable rotator cuff tears, and improving outcomes in ACL surgery and hip arthroscopy. One of Dr. Lassiter's current projects is investigating an IDE study for stemless reverse shoulder arthroplasty for LIMA. Additionally, Dr. Lassiter is looking forward to starting a similar IDE study with Stryker that investigates a stemless reverse shoulder arthroplasty. Dr. Lassiter is also involved in many shoulder related studies with medical students and residents along with Drs. Anakwenze and Klifto.
