Several people from the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery attended the 30th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Banquet to show support. The event was hosted by the Duke Student National Medical Association (SNMA) on Jan. 14. The SNMA is a student-run organization for medical students of color that focuses on supporting minority medical students. Our Duke SNMA Chapter engages minority medical students at Duke and individuals within the community of Durham, NC.
