Christian Pean, MD, to Provide the Keynote Lecture at the JRGOS Annual Event

Christian Pean, MD, Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, will provide the keynote lecture for the J. Robert Gladden Orthopaedic Society (JRGOS) luncheon at this year’s American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons event on Feb. 15, 2024, in San Francisco. 

The JRGOS is the nation’s largest organization of Black Orthopaedic Surgeons. The title of his talk is “Leveraging Technology to Address Health Inequity: An Ethical and Economic Imperative.” Learn more.

Dr. Pean's multifaceted research addresses critical issues in orthopaedic surgery and health policy. His work explores using large datasets, policy strategies, and clinical practice innovation to address health-related social needs and racial inequity in orthopaedic surgery.
