
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Koji Ishikawa, MD, PhD, senior research associate in the Alman Lab at Duke Orthopaedic Surgery, has been awarded the prestigious Lumbar Spine Research Society (LSRS) Young Investigator Grant.
The grant, "Biomechanical and Genetic Analysis of the Combined Effects of BMP2 and Anti-RANKL Antibody in a Mouse Spinal Fusion Model," will support Dr. Ishikawa’s research on the impact of BMP2 and anti-RANKL antibodies in spinal fusion. This research is poised to provide valuable insights into the mechanisms that could improve spinal surgery outcomes.
