1) Todd Cade, PT, PhD (Doctoral Physical Therapy Division) was recognized as a Catherine Worthingham Fellow of the American Physical Therapy Association (FAPTA). This is the association’s highest honor for service and contribution to the field.
2) Chad Cook, PT, PhD (Doctoral Physical Therapy Division) has been recognized as this year’s Helen J. Hislop Award for Outstanding Contributions to Professional Literature of the American Physical Therapy Association (FAPTA). This recognizes outstanding contribution to the literature in Physical Therapy.
3) Warren Lattimore, PhD (course director for our Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program) started his term on Duke's board of trustees as a Young Trustee representative.
4) Mike Comstock, MD (Adult Reconstruction and Foot and Ankle Divisions) has been appointed Duke Raleigh Hospital Medical Director of Orthopaedics.
5) Tyler Pidgeon, MD (Hand Division) will serve as the Raleigh Hospital Medical leader of Orthopaedics co-management.
