Jeff Bytomski, DO, Professor of Family Medicine and Community Health, was the program chair for the 2023 Advanced Team Physician Course last week in Salt Lake City, UT.
The course provides up-to-date information on evaluating and treating medical illnesses and musculoskeletal injuries in competitive and recreational athletes. It is a collaborative effort between the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM), the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine (AOASM), and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM)
Speakers from Duke Sports Medicine included Kenzie Johnston, MD, Assistant Professor in Family Medicine and Community Health, Corina Martinez, PT, Duke Sports Medicine, and Blake Boggess, DO, Professor of Family Medicine and Community Health.
