Amy Pastva and Team Receive NIH Funding for Heart Failure Study

The National Institute of Aging (NIA), part of the National Institutes of Health, recently awarded $30 million over five years to support research to test a novel physical rehabilitation program designed for older patients hospitalized for acute heart failure.

Holly Springs Salamanders Support Sarcoma Research

The Holly Springs Salamanders hosted an event to raise money to Strike Out Sarcoma on Friday, July 22 and to raise awareness about the 14th Annual Strikeout for Sarcoma 5k Run/Walk is Sunday, October 23rd, 2022! ​It was a great event!​

 

Blake Boggess Named President of AOASM

Dr. Blake Boggess, DO, FAOASM, FAMSSM, FAAFP recently became the President of American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine (AOASM). Over his two decades of membership in the academy, Dr. Boggess has been the Conference Chair, Lecturer, Moderator, Mentor, Program Chair, and Webinar Director and has directed ultrasound cadaver courses in many conference centers for the annual AOASM conference in various cities around the United States.
