The weeklong event will include in-person and virtual lectures that examine the relationship between health care and DEI.

1000 Reasons to Celebrate
Last month, the Arringdon Ambulatory Surgery Center (AASC) celebrated its 1000th total joint replacement (TJR) procedure since the program's inception in 2021. AASC and hospital leadership celebrated this fantastic milestone, reflecting outstanding patient care and commitment to providing affordable, personalized outpatient joint replacement procedures.

Visiting Professor, Paul Huddleson, MD Imparts Valuable Spinal Lessons
The Duke Orthopaedics Spine Division hosted dynamic lectures and labs with visiting professor Paul Huddleston, MD, from the Mayo Clinic last week.
Immersive activities included a journal club about Value-Based Spine Care, a Grand Rounds lecture about Spine Infections, and closed out with a spine lab. Dr. Huddleston brought a novel durotomy repair model with him for the experience. All the residents in attendance received hands-on experience with cadaveric anatomy and durotomy repair simulation.
